Sdr Zaid Ibrahim suggested in his blog that YM Tengku Razaleigh should leave UMNO and join PKR. YM T Razaleigh politely turned down the offer.
My comments:
Whilst I respect YM Tengku's inalienable right to express what he pleases, I am saddened by what he had written. As one reader rightly commented, UMNO does not care about people like you who uphold principles and are true to the objectives for what it was formed. Your voice will be more meaningful outside UMNO. You have left UMNO once before... do it again for the sake of the rakyat. Just see what they are doing to Anwar, the Perak fiasco ably aided by the Royalty, the death of TBH (and the attempt by the powers that be to turn it into a racial issue )....I hope it will prick your conscience and you will do the right thing.... just get out of UMNO for the rakyat's sake. It’s a lost cause.
